Tabata Training using the Concept 2 Rower

Check out how to set up the Concept2 Rower for Tabata Training. If you unsure of what Tabata is then you need to understand it is very hard method of interval training, whereby the athlete does 20 seconds of intense exercise followed by 10 secs of rest for a total of 8 sets (4 mins of hell)

The Concept 2 Rower lends itself very well to this but you could use cycling, kettlebell training, squats, deadlifts, running, the list is endless. Dan John did this with front squats, which really will tell us how much of a man or woman you are.



Before using Tabata training you must ensure you have a really solid base of physical fitness built up. So be careful and don't push too hard until you are ready for it
